Mother Nature

Mother Nature seems to be unleashing a horrendous attack on Asia this week. The Taiwanese have been battered by Typhoon Morakot causing disastrous mudslides with hundreds feared dead. There have been many earthquakes in the region, particularly in Japan. Japan, located in the infamous 'ring of fire', experienced another earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter Scale on the 11th August 2009. The earthquake struck in Tokyo, central Japan. At least 70 people were thought to be injured and a small Tsunami was also reported. Click on the title link for more info.
